OMG! It's OMO
New night cleans up The Astoria

OMG! It's OMO

Friday, 18 July 2008

OMG! OMO is cleaning up London. Friday nights at Astoria are set for a spring (or should that be summer?) clean this month as OMO comes to town. After the farewell’s were paid to G.A.Y. who else but OMO Generations could do the job? With a top DJ line up and musical policy that reflects 3 decades of pop music OMO Generations will feature in the Main Room pop music of the 80s, 90s and 00's with dj’s Tasty Tim, Dusty O and Lady Lloyd whilst Room Two will play host to enough commercial R’N’B that booty of yours will shake, shake, shake.

Dusty O is one OMO excited dj saying of the new Friday nighter “Fridays is going to be 'major' at the Astoria. It’s an amazing opportunity for me to dj with my two best and most stylish friends on the London club scene and give the Astoria an overdose of great POP music from the 80's right through to now. My own set is going to be solid Top 20 hits. If you don’t already know it you won’t hear it! No long drawn out dance versions either. Just the original and best versions played back to back. Think HITS 'cos that’s what your going to get! “

Brought to you by a promotions team consisting of Gary Henshaw (KU Bar) and Mark Williams (Trade, Turnmills, Heaven, Ministry and The Scala), Paul Richardson (The Shadow Lounge and Too 2 Much) and Matt Joshua (Heaven and Profile), OMO looks like scrubbing up our central London playground. See you there pop pickers.
