A Wild Royal Wedding...
review
To say that Jo and Kate are very special to us would be a huge understatement, so to be invited to celebrate their Civil Partnership with them and their nearest and dearest was an honour!
loved it!
A few years ago when Jo’s nephew was younger (and his voice squeakier), we found ourselves at a school fete in Aylesbury. Don’t ask why, it was something to do with Jo’s sister dancing the maypole, but anyway in front of a maypole dance-anticipating, straight-laced crowd, Jo’s nephew, in the sweetest ‘I’m not bothered so why should u be’ way squeaked out loud “This is Kate & Jo, they’re sort of married.”
Well now we are. And today we’re tired and emotional. In the very best way. We just wanted to thank everyone who helped us celebrate. For every contribution made towards our day. Talk about feeling loved up. Thanx to Jo’s mum and dad (Mr & Mrs Queenie) for all their support, the excellent speech and the great cherry pies, to my mum and step dad for their support, the sweet speech and the attention to Munroe. To our various siblings, step siblings and in-laws for being there and to our lovely nieces and nephew Rebecca, Olivia, Imogen and James for being so lovely. To my cousin and lady for turning up in my life after all these years. To our best man Dan – u star - and our best beloved Andrea. U are fab girl! And big, big love to our extended family. The calming gorgeousness of Lene, the style of Wes and the cuddles from Dr Who double Dexter. To Clare, Matilda, Christy and Pete – great car my dears - thanx for the ribbon covered lift! To Lynda for the best cake ever – and to Charlie for getting the cream. To Munroe and Rupert for hosting with class and to every soul at Audio esp. Ollie for making our afternoon shine so bright. To Neil and Wayne for the Mexican love. To all at Amsterdam for the fab hotel room, to Revenge for the fabulous after party & generous guest list and to the boys at Planted for putting our garden on our chest. You got what we wanted so right thank you. To Rose for being a rose and to Ella for growing so much! To all at Tudor House – you’re love and support is always cherished and James and Huw @ RB for the fabulous pictures. To everyone we haven’t mentioned who was at the ceremony and forgave Wildblood’s nerves and Queenie's giggles. To our registrar Trevor love. Perfect name, perfect registrar. You really made our day. And to the dj’s. Richard you disco babe you – is this the future warm up sound of Sundae? - to Sarah – let’s getting you djing on the scene soon and to Mr Coco for a effortlessly cool set that rocked us so sweetly. And to our Dulcie for a selection of tunes that ticked every box and a speech that pulled every string. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
And finally to every one who joined us who we haven’t mentioned so far. We loved having our (secret) wedding disco with you. The kisses, the cuddles, the drinking, the dancing and the love. You made sure nothing rained on our parade yesterday and we thank you. Lots of wedded love. Kate & Jo xxxx wildblood, 9 Mar 2008 [+]

about Queen Josephine

If there was such a thing as a run-of-the-mill queen then Queen Josephine wouldn't be one... Popular with both the boys and the girls (can one DJ have more groupies?), she has residencies at Mad Cow, Passion, Envy, Wet Pussy, Decent, Bring It On, Shameless Hussies and the Candy Bar. A girl that is rapidly gaining the respect of her deck-mates and the adoration of her crowds!
The next Queen Josephine date for your diary:
