Work! Launch...
review
And you thought there was nothing much going on on a Wednesday! To be honest, so did we. But we were proved wrong tonight at Heaven - as a new night took hold and the punters descended!
We found Brighton DJs Kate Wildblood and handbag-winning Queen Josephine in the Disco Room - where, as well as dancing to the disco beats, we also caught some cabaret. The R&B rooom was heaving all night and the main floor proved a lot of fun too - with the fabulous Dolly Rocket appearing as Amy Winehouse for a few numbers!
So. With 80's, electro, dance, r&b and cabaret all in one venue and all on one night - Work! is spoiling us for choice and making Thursday morning at work very difficult! We loved it. You can make up your own mind!

(gasps)... and French Kiss. Amongst othe... The next Kate Wildblood date for your diary:

about Queen Josephine

If there was such a thing as a run-of-the-mill queen then Queen Josephine wouldn't be one... Popular with both the boys and the girls (can one DJ have more groupies?), she has residencies at Mad Cow, Passion, Envy, Wet Pussy, Decent, Bring It On, Shameless Hussies and the Candy Bar. A girl that is rapidly gaining the respect of her deck-mates and the adoration of her crowds!

about Wild Fruit

The monthly Wild Fruit is undoubtedly one of Brighton's clubbing institutions. Always glamorous, always packed and always great music from resident DJs Pete Haywood, Neil Duffie and friends. The night is often punctuated with stage acts, muscly dancers, regular live big name PAs and guest DJs such as local superstar DJ Norman Cook... it's NEVER a dull party!
