Hustlaball London 2008...
review
Hustlaball celebrates its tenth birthday this year and, as to be expected, threw a party of hustlers, hookers, pimps, streetwalkers, flesh-peddlers, porn stars and other scandalous sorts... a fantastic night of super decadence with a touch of glamour thrown in!
Hustlaball has achieved notoriety in New York, Berlin, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Chicago and Los Angeles but creator Jeffrey Davids has teamed up with Salvation's Alex Erfan to put it firmly on London's big gay map.
Tonight's event was held at Area and Depot together, making up four dancefloors, seven bars, a VIP area hosted by Chi Chi La Rue and - of course - amazing sound and light throughout the venues. Every ticket sold included a £1 donation to THT - with a nod towards giving a safe sex message to everyone who attended what is ultimately a pretty hedonistic sort of night.
Add to the mix 12 world class DJs including Sammy Jo fresh from supporting the Scissor Sisters' tour, 37 big name performers and porn stars, performers, drag acts, dancers, acrobats and fabulous shows that shocked and amazed the gathered throng!
